At PULSE, Acupuncture is performed by a trained and qualified TCM physician using sterile needles- it is generally considered to be safe and low risk.
Most patients do not experience pain or side effects from acupuncture.
Acupuncture needles are hair-thin from 0.12-0.30mm, while a normal medical needle for injections ranges around 0.9-1.3mm.
