PULSE was invited by Shangri-La Group to host a Mindful Herbal Tea Making workshop for their clients at JEN Singapore Orchard Gateway.
Our Mindful Herbal Tea Making workshop aims to guide participants through incorporating mindfulness while making their own personalised herbal tea blends with expertise from both our PULSE+ Allied Health Clinical Psychologist and PULSE TCM Physician.
Our session started off with Lead Clinical Psychologist Dr Jaswyn Chin sharing on the importance of mindfulness in our daily lives and guiding participants through a guided mindfulness practice to help them relax and be in the present.
TCM Physician Ji Hui Jun then shared basic TCM concepts to help participants understand their body constitution better so that they can create tea blends that are suitable for themselves.
Participants are then invited to make their own personalised herbal tea blends on-site with the new knowledge they have acquired, and enjoy their new teas mindfully.
