In a first-in-Singapore collaboration,
MiRXES and PULSE TCM Clinic launched the “East Meets West” Community Health Screening Programme at Bukit Gombak on 25 May 2024. Witnessed by Senior Minister of State Ms Low Yen Ling, this pilot represents a novel approach towards integrating contemporary Western precision diagnostic technology with Eastern TCM wisdom, aimed at creating a holistic approach to preventive and personalised healthcare for a Healthier Singapore.
To engage and educate the Bukit Gombak community, PULSE TCM’s Physician Ji curated and hosted informative talks on commonly used TCM herbs, tips and acupoints that residents can use in their daily lives.
At the community event hall, we also put together and displayed informative infographics highlighting the benefits of various herbs, acupoints, and how to identify one’s body constitution. Residents could also win prizes through PULSE TCM’s game booth and we had a lot of eager participants who learnt a lot about TCM through these activities.
Together with the “East Meets West” Community Health Screening Programme, we look forward to sharing more about the benefits of TCM in preventive care, and making it accessible to our local community.
