
Wind-Heat Cough Tea
This tea helps to dispel excess heat and soothes the throat.
Ingredients
- Mulberry Leaf (桑叶, Sang Ye), 10g
- Chrysanthemum (菊花, Ju Hua), 10g
- Burdock Seed (牛蒡子, Niu Bang Zi), 3-5g
- Peppermint (薄荷, Bo He), 3g – add in last
Instructions
- Add all ingredients (except peppermint) to a pot and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat, add the peppermint in and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Pour tea through a strainer and drink it while it’s warm.
- Rest!
