Our TCM Physicians & Clinical Practitioners

At PULSE TCM, our clinical philosophy bridges the gap between ancient wisdom and modern medical science. Every practitioner in our team is a Singapore MOH Registered TCM Physician, governed by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB).

Our physicians bring a wealth of Experience—from PhD-level academic research to decades of clinical practice in hospitals across Singapore and China. We believe in a collaborative healthcare model, where our physicians work alongside allied health professionals to provide a holistic, evidence-based approach to your well-being.

Finding the Right TCM Doctor for You

We understand that choosing the right practitioner is a personal decision. If you have a specific preference, you may request a male or female physician upon booking. Our front desk team is also happy to recommend a physician whose clinical focus aligns perfectly with your specific health conditions.

Why Choose Our TCM Practitioners?

Trusted & Certified Expertise

Every physician at PULSE TCM is fully registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH). We go beyond basic registration by requiring all our practitioners to engage in Continuous Professional Education (CPE), ensuring they remain at the forefront of global TCM research and clinical standards.

Integrated "East Meets West" Care

We specialize in an evidence-based, integrative approach. Our practitioners are trained to understand both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medical perspectives. This “East Meets West” methodology ensures that your TCM treatments safely complement any existing medical regimens, prioritizing transparency and coordinated patient care.

Clear, Multilingual Communication

Effective healing starts with being understood. Our physicians are effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, with many also conversant in local dialects. This ensures that every diagnosis, treatment plan, and lifestyle recommendation is communicated with absolute clarity, empowering you to take charge of your health journey.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I choose the right TCM physician?

We recommend selecting a physician based on their clinical interest area. If you are unsure, our clinic staff can assist in matching you with a practitioner who specializes in your specific health concern.

Are your physicians registered with the MOH?

Yes. Every practitioner at PULSE TCM is registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health, Singapore.

Can I use my insurance for TCM consultations?

Many private insurance plans in Singapore cover TCM treatments. We provide official receipts with the physician’s TCMPB registration number for your claim purposes.

Can your TCM physicians work alongside my Western medical specialist?

Yes. Our physicians often adopt an “East Meets West” integrative approach. We are happy to work in tandem with your GP or specialist, reviewing your existing medical reports to ensure that our TCM treatments—such as herbal prescriptions or acupuncture—safely complement your current medical regimen.

What should I expect during my first consultation with a TCM physician?

A first visit typically lasts 30–45 minutes. Your physician will conduct a “Four-Step Diagnosis” (Looking, Listening/Smelling, Asking, and Pulse-taking). This holistic assessment allows them to identify your body constitution and the root cause of your symptoms before proposing a personalized treatment plan.

Which Pulse TCM outlet is my preferred physician located at?

Many of our physicians consult across multiple locations to remain accessible to our patients. You can check each physician’s specific schedule by submitting a appointment using Online Booking System to or contacting us through Whatsapp / Mobile to enquire.

Are there any female TCM physicians available for Women's Health concerns?

Yes, we have several experienced female TCM physicians who specialize in gynecology, fertility, and postpartum care. We understand the importance of comfort and privacy in these matters and offer a supportive environment for all patients.

Do your physicians offer video or tele-consultations?

For patients who require follow-up consultations for dietitians or psychologists that do not require physical therapy (like acupuncture).  Tele-TCM consultations options may be available. Please check with our friendly physicians or administrative staff.
