When haze brings a frontal or irritation-linked headache, press He Gu (合谷, LI4) in the fleshy bulge between the thumb and index finger. Bring the thumb and index finger together to find the highest point of the muscle bulge. Place the opposite thumb on that bulge, support with the index finger underneath, and press firmly for one to two minutes until a sore ache appears, then switch sides. If there's any chance of pregnancy, don't use this.

    Bring the thumb and index finger together. The point sits at the highest point of the muscle bulge in the webbing. Place the opposite thumb on that bulge and support with the index finger underneath.

  2. Press 1–2 minutes each side

    Press firmly until a sore ache appears. Hold about one to two minutes, then switch sides. Soften if the press turns sharp or numb.
