Ingredients

  • dried lotus leaf 10 g
    荷叶
  • Chinese barley 60 g
    薏米, Yi Yi Ren
  • water 1.5 litres

Optional

  • honey or rock sugar to taste
  1. Rinse

    Rinse all ingredients with water. Place the rinsed lotus leaf into a filter bag.

  2. Combine

    Place the ingredients into a pot with 1.5 litres of water.

  3. Simmer

    Bring to a boil on high heat, then reduce to medium-low and cook for about 30 minutes.

  4. Sweeten

    Add honey or rock sugar to taste if you like. Drink about three to five times a week.
