Cassia, Ze Xie, Bai Zhu, and hawthorn tea

Fried cassia seed (炒决明子) with Ze Xie (泽泻), Bai Zhu (白术), and dried hawthorn (山楂) is a cool-leaning kitchen steep when Spleen and Stomach need support and damp load sits after long sitting.

In brief

Place 5 g fried cassia seed, 5 g Ze Xie, 5 g Bai Zhu, and 10 g dried hawthorn in a tea bag. Add boiling water and steep 5–10 minutes. Drink about two to three times a week. This cup supports Spleen-Stomach and damp clearance. It is food therapy, not a weight-loss cure.

FAQs

Quick questions

How often should I drink this tea?

About two to three times a week is the educational habit from the source article. It is not an all-day slim-down sip.

Who should skip this brew?

Do not use it if there is any chance of pregnancy. Ease off if you feel cold easily. Ask a physician if oedema or weight change is new or severe.

Is this the same as lotus leaf cassia seed tea?

No. This cup adds Ze Xie, Bai Zhu, and hawthorn for Spleen-Stomach and damp support. Lotus leaf cassia seed tea is a simpler cool damp-lipid steep with different amounts.
