FAQs

Quick questions

What is in Dreamful Sleep Tea?

Polygala root (Yuan Zhi) 5 g, ophiopogon tuber (Mai Dong) 3–5 pieces, and about 10 spine date seeds (Suan Zao Ren), steeped ten minutes in 500 ml boiling water. Honey is optional once the cup has cooled slightly.

Who is this tea for?

Educational use when falling asleep is hard and the mind feels unsettled or racing. It is not the same cup as Mind Relaxing Tea for 1–3am waking with Liver heat, or bitter lotus plumule tea for Heart fire with forehead heat.

How often can I drink it?

About 3–5 evenings a week is the usual educational habit from the kitchen recipe. Ease off if sleep settles, or if you feel chilled, bloated, or stools loosen. It is not a nightly medicine dose.

Can I drink this in pregnancy?

No. If there's any chance of pregnancy, don't use this. Polygala and the full blend need physician guidance outside ordinary kitchen use.
