Huang Qi, honeysuckle, and patchouli tea after COVID

Astragalus (黄芪, Huang Qi) supports resistance while Japanese honeysuckle (金银花, Jin Yin Hua) and patchouli / agastache (藿香, Huo Xiang) ease residual heatiness and damp-heat load after COVID.

In brief

Mix 8 g Astragalus (Huang Qi), 5 g honeysuckle flower (Jin Yin Hua), and 3 g patchouli (Huo Xiang). Steep in boiling water for 5–10 minutes. Drink two to three times a week. Suited when you want immunity support but still have underlying post-COVID heatiness or residual symptoms. Add honey or rock sugar to taste if needed. Educational food therapy beside physician care.

FAQs

Quick questions

Who is this tea for after COVID?

People who still want immunity support but carry residual heatiness or underlying post-COVID symptoms. Prefer the Yu Ping Feng Mai Dong cup when colds return easily without heat signs.

How often should I drink it?

Two to three times a week is the scrape habit. It is food therapy for a named pattern, not an everyday cooling tonic for every constitution.

Can this tea clear Long COVID on its own?

No. It is educational food therapy for residual heatiness with thin resistance. Lingering multi-system Long COVID needs a physician read.
