  • Chinese yam 15 g
    山药, Shan Yao
  • dried tangerine peel 5 g
    陈皮, Chen Pi

  • water about 8 cups
  1. Prep

    Wash and cut the Dang Shen, Chinese yam, and Chen Pi as needed. Rinse the rice.

  2. Simmer

    Add about eight cups of water with all ingredients. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the porridge is soft and creamy.

  3. Serve

    Serve warm two to three times a week when appetite after COVID still sits low.
