In brief
Wash your hands. Circle Cuan Zhu at the medial end of each eyebrow about six times. Circle Tai Yang in the temple hollow about six times. Close the eyes and massage the upper then lower orbital rims about six times each, from the inner corner outward. Soft pressure only. Never press into the eyeball. Stop if pain sharpens or vision changes.
Routine
In the hollow at the medial end of the eyebrow, near the bridge of the nose. Massage in a circular motion about six times. Often used when the brow and inner canthus feel tight with eye irritation.
In the tender temple depression about one inch behind the midpoint between the lateral end of the eyebrow and the outer eye corner. Circle about six times. A common point when temple tightness sits with eye strain.
Close the eyes. With the thumb at the temple, use the pads of the index fingers to massage from the inner corner of each socket toward the outer edge of the upper lids, then from the inner corner toward the outer corner along the lower lids. About six soft circular passes each.
