Dry Eye Alleviation Tea for screen-tired eyes

Chrysanthemum (菊花, Ju Hua) clears and brightens. Wolfberries (枸杞子, Gou Qi Zi) support the Liver and the eyes. A short kitchen steep when computers or study leave the eyes dry and fatigued.

In brief

Place 6–10 g chrysanthemum flowers (Ju Hua) and 6–10 g wolfberries (Gou Qi Zi) in a cup. Pour boiling water over them, cover, and steep five to ten minutes. Sip while warm. In TCM, the Liver opens into the eyes; this Tea Series steep is educational food therapy for screen dryness and eye fatigue. It does not replace tears, optometry, or a physician visit.

FAQs

Quick questions

What is Dry Eye Alleviation Tea?

It is PULSE’s Tea Series name for a two-herb kitchen steep: chrysanthemum (Ju Hua) 6–10 g and wolfberries (Gou Qi Zi) 6–10 g. The cup is used when screens or study leave the eyes dry and fatigued. It is food therapy, not a vision cure or optometry substitute.

How do I make Dry Eye Alleviation Tea?

Put both herbs in a cup, pour boiling water over them, cover, and steep five to ten minutes. Sip while warm. Use about 250–400 ml water for one cup.

How often can I drink this tea?

For casual kitchen use, once every two to three days is enough for many people. The dry eyes Insight notes a denser educational rhythm of three days a week, twice a day, when dryness is the main picture. Stop if you feel colder or digestion weakens.

Is this the same as white chrysanthemum wolfberry tea?

Closely related. White chrysanthemum wolfberry tea names Bai Ju Hua and fixed gram weights. Dry Eye Alleviation Tea is the Tea Series label for Ju Hua with Gou Qi Zi in a 6–10 g range. Choose the page that matches the flower and dose you have, or ask a physician.

Can I drink Dry Eye Alleviation Tea if I feel cold easily?

Chrysanthemum is cool-natured. If you feel cold easily or have weak digestion, skip it or use it rarely. Prefer a moistening Yin steep such as Vision Brightening Tea only when a physician agrees it fits.

Can I drink Dry Eye Alleviation Tea in pregnancy?

If there's any chance of pregnancy, don't use this. Ask a physician before brewing medicinal herbs while pregnant or breastfeeding.
